About our customer
The DKI, the German Copper Institute, is the central information and advisory service in Germany dealing with all aspects of the production, use and procurement of copper and copper alloys. The DKI is open to anyone and everyone – commercial companies, the skilled trades, arts and handicrafts, industry, academia, students, school children and private individuals. The Institute is supported by its members – two copper smelters, which have now actually merged into one enterprise, and around 35 companies nearly all of which are semi-manufacturers. Interestingly, the DKI so far has only three member companies from within the electrical engineering sector.
